Hi all, I hope your St Patrick’s day was nice and chill. Last Friday was a very exciting day for me, I made it onto national radio here in Ireland! I was interviewed by Ryan Tubridy on his show about an article I wrote for The University Times. The article was about talking to strangers, something I’ve been making an effort to do on my daily commute, and the results of my experiment. You can read it here if you want.
If you would like to hear a podcast of my interview, simply head over to RTÉ’s archives (http://www.rte.ie/radio1/podcast/podcast_tubridy.xml) and scroll down to the episode entitled “Small Talk”. It’s about twelve minutes long and it’d mean the world to me if you gave it a listen.
In other news my column at The University Times is still going strong; once I’m finished writing this post I’ll be getting to work on the latest article. My latest one was about Internet Horror, a genre of fiction that I believe is truly special. You can give it a read here if you’d like to experience a nostalgia blast followed shortly by sickening terror.
That’s all from me for now, I hope everyone is doing great.
